Screenzilla comes from a long line of creative, innovative and ambitious teams. Backed by the creator of the acclaimed MMO Club Penguin as well as Hyper Hippo Studios, leaders in the idle game genre, Screenzilla is made up of people with a history of creating high-quality, player driven games. And we bring this experience to the way we publish and support games and developers.
Meet the Team
We know that it takes more than technical know-how to make great games. Our teams are made up of not only industry professionals with years of experience, but also people passionate about games and changing the way the industry approaches game publishing. Providing a full range of services for our partners is only part of what we offer; it’s our goal to always be bringing something new, innovative and valuable to each partner of a regular basis.
Lance (known by many as RocketSnail) is our lead hippo, mountain man, and the visionary behind Screenzilla. Lance has been developing online worlds since he was a child, creating his first virtual world, Penguin Chat, in 2000. He later co-founded and created the legendary Club Penguin in 2005. In Lance’s spare time, he likes to hike around the world while, as he puts it, “pursuing his passions!”
Kevin’s interest in player experience started in college, while taking support calls for Nintendo. Since then he’s worked with brands across the world to drive marketing experiences and programs with a player-first mentality. At Microsoft and Publicis Groupe, Kevin designed tools and programs to help brands understand their customers and provide the best support possible. Now bringing his passion to Screenzilla, Kevin is focused not just on ensuring everything Screenzilla does is player-first, but raising the importance of the players across the entire industry. His specialty is finding amazing people to work with, and his favourite video game character is Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher.

His all-time favourite video game is Super Smash Bros, which he’s played religiously since is release on the N64.

An unfortunate Toronto Maple Leafs fan, Duncan has extensive experience in quality control, providing strategic growth strategies, and optimizing internal systems. On a day to day basis, he ensures that timelines are met and project quality is superb. Emma has 18+ years of experience in the digital media industry and has worked with global leaders including The Walt Disney Company and the BBC. Originally from London, UK, Emma moved to Kelowna, BC in 2010 to join the Club Penguin team. Since then, she has worked on award-winning projects for websites, mobile apps, and print. Manager of Player Experience
Jordan (known to the office as “Jerd”) has spent over a decade managing teams and leading the way in player support and community management. He spent many years as a Team Leader for Disney, managing teams of upwards of 20 reps at a time. With extensive experience in training, resource building, mentoring, team managing and brand voicing, Jerd is now leading Screenzilla’s Player Experience Team and overseeing the support of all published titles. He has too many favourite video games to list (including Resident Evil 4, Super Mario World, and Wind Waker), and his most impressive Pokemon on Pokemon Go is his shiny Articuno.
Player Experience Specialist
Alexis is an expert when it comes to community interaction, process management, reporting, and managing the day-to-day operations of the office. She spent seven years working on various titles at the Walt Disney Company, from Club Penguin to Pixie Hollow, and has brought that experience and player-first focus to Screenzilla. Apart from ensuring that she and her teams are providing the very best support to their communities, Alexis is a Pokemon Go addict. She is very proud of her Mewtwo and shiny Farfetch’d, and has kept all of her 90’s Pokemon cards (in protectors, of course).
Nathan Del Rizzo
Player Experience Specialist
He calls himself an interdimensional traveller, but we call him Nate. With a background in the service industry, running and working in restaurants, Nate is no stranger to the customer service and fully embodies our player-first mantra. After making the switch to tech, he has become an expert at identifying and troubleshooting pesky bugs, and finding creative solutions for any problems he encounters. When he’s not helping players, he’s pursuing his BA in Psychology and listening to the blackest of black metal, while running after two rambunctious toddlers. His favourite video game character is the scholar Deckard Cain (R.I.P.).
Player Experience Specialist
Tayler spent seven years supporting games at the Walt Disney Company, working with titles like Club Penguin, Pixie Hollow, World of Cars, and more. A musical wiz, he has brought those skills and player-first attitude over to the Screenzilla team, assisting with sound production and music development for video content. When asked about his favourite video game, he listed our software, Helpshift, because his work is more fun than any game could be (aside for AdVenture Capitalist).
Player Experience Specialist
With skills in web, communications, and gaming, this triple threat fully embodies our player-first mantra. She joins the Screenzilla team with a background in web design and a diploma in New Media Communications & Design under her belt, and is currently pursuing her BA in Business Administration. When she’s not supporting our players, Jo is probably playing disc golf or patiently waiting for the next Mass Effect installment.
Player Experience Specialist
After living and working across Asia, Aislinn returned to Kelowna to finish her studies in media and communications. During the work week she spends her time tracking bugs, writing, managing the Reddit community, and most importantly, petting the office dogs. Penny is the real boss of our Vancouver office. When she’s not posing for Instagram, she’s helping run meetings and working hard as the office stress-reliever. In her spare time, Penny enjoys basking in the sun, collecting sticks, and chasing her dad down mountains on the North Shore.
