Meet the Team
We know that it takes more than technical know-how to make great games. Our teams are made up of not only industry professionals with years of experience, but also people passionate about games and changing the way the industry approaches game publishing. Providing a full range of services for our partners is only part of what we offer; it’s our goal to always be bringing something new, innovative and valuable to each partner of a regular basis.
Lance (or RocketSnail as many know him to be) is our lead hippo, mountain man and the visionary behind our organization. Lance has been developing online worlds since he was a child, creating his first virtual world in 2000 called Penguin Chat and later co-founding and creating Club Penguin in 2005. In Lance’s spare time, he likes to work or as he would likely phrase it, “pursue his passions!”
Kevin’s focus over the last 20 years has been on innovating to drive new customer experiences. In college, while working at Nintendo, he learned firsthand how they value players. He has worked with brands across the world to drive consumer-centric experiences and programs and has even lead the largest social media group in the world, which pushed for brands to understand how to interact and value their consumers. Kevin then worked with brands such as Microsoft and Publicis Groupe to design and deploy technology tools that allow brands to better understand and serve their customers. At Screenzilla Kevin is focused on not just ensuring everything Screenzilla does is Player-First, but raising the importance of the players across the entire industry.
Director of Insight & Analytics
Sean comes from a background in behavioural science and analytics. He has previously used that skill set in a range of projects from Alzheimer’s research to analyzing customer traffic, patron valuation, and hotel yielding in the casino industry. For the last 6 years he has been in the mobile game industry constructing event taxonomy, developing KPI dashboards and analyzing in-game behavior. He specializes in data mining for visual communications.
Director of Game Strategy
Josh has been a game developer for over 20 years with a focus on game design and production. He has shipped over 40 titles for companies such as Electronic Arts, Rockstar Games, Ubisoft, Disney and BBTV. He now uses that experience to help developers build the right type of games and on how to streamline their development cycles for cost and efficiency.
Manager of Marketing
Chris is a 10 year veteran of the games marketing industry. With roles in production and marketing at EA, A Thinking Ape, and Hothead Games his 25 million plus downloads bring a wealth of experience to the table. Titles he has worked on include the Kill Shot and Big Win Sports series; Kingdoms at War, a precursor to Game of War; and World Series of Poker mobile properties.
Manager of Studio Relations
Tyler has spent the last 10+ years supporting the gaming industry, with a focus in player-first support, quality assurance and team management. He has spent 8 years working for the Walt Disney Company, supporting and managing teams for the online MMO Club Penguin and other Disney properties. He then moved on to help establish the Player Experience Team for Hyper Hippo Games and now serves as a Relations Manager for Screenzilla.
Manager of Social Strategy and Content
Lindsay has worked in the game industry all over the world. Getting his start in the Walt Disney Company Canada office, supporting games like Club Penguin and other titles. He has lived in London, England, working for Binweevils. Most recently he has returned to Canada to put his experience to work for the Hyper Hippo Games Player Experience Team. He has a keen interest in social media, brand promotion and pop culture and now spends his time as the Manager of Social Strategy and Content for Screenzilla.
Manager of Player Experience
Jordan has spent the last 10+ years managing teams and leading the way in Player Support and Community Management. He has spent many years as a Team Lead for Disney on their Club Penguin and other online titles, managing teams of upwards of 20+ reps at a time. He has extensive experience in training, resource building, mentoring, organization and process creation, team management and brand voicing. Jordan is now leading the Player Experience Team at Screenzilla and oversees the development and support of all of their published titles and working to meet the growth and needs as we take on new partners.
Player Experience Specialist
Alexis has a wealth of experience in game and player support; working on titles from Disney’s Club Penguin, Pixie Hollow, World of Cars and more, to the AdVenture games from Hyper Hippo Games and all other Screenzilla partners. Alexis is an expert when it comes to community interaction, process management, feedback and data collection and reporting. She is extremely player-first focused and has worked hard to ensure that she and her teams are providing the very best support and experience to their communities.
Player Experience Specialist
Michael joins the Screenzilla team with a long history working for The Walt Disney Company previously, where he began in Player Support and moved into Quality Assurance, Special Projects and Project Management roles. His strong sense of Community, organization and creativity has been an invaluable asset to the Player Experience Team. Michael also brings with him a passion and history in film and editing that has allowed him to add a lot of value to the Social Media Team.

Shrub leads the way at Screenzilla. She is the heart of the team and brings an unending amount of positivity and enthusiasm to her work. Her strengths include tail chasing, belly rubs and fetching. An adorable triple-threat and truly the goodest of gurls.
Screenzilla is part of the Hyper Hippo Productions team. As such we are partnered with a number of talented studios throughout Canada and the United States. Through this we have access to a wide range of talent, resources and perspectives. Everyone within Hyper Hippo Productions is not only dedicated to making amazing games, but also passionate about building a creative and collaborative culture throughout all of HHP.
Screenzilla is located in Kelowna, BC. A burgeoning city for the tech and gaming industry, Kelowna is in the heart of the Okanagan valley, offering beautiful vistas from the lake to the ski hills, a myriad of award-winning wineries and much more. Our office houses both Screenzilla and Hyper Hippo Studios and we believe in a strong culture of collaboration, openness and creativity among our teams.
Part of the Hyper Hippo organization, we also have a partner studio in Vancouver, BC, Classy Yak Studios. Creators of the Tap Cats Universe, they are an experienced team of passionate and talented designers, programmers, artists and more!
